Clark County Right to Life to Hold Speech Contest


All Clark County and surrounding area high school students, including homeschool students, are invited to participate in the Champion Life Speech Contest Saturday, Feb. 17, at 1 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church Metzdorf Hall (910 Lagonda Ave.). Students compete at the junior category (grades 7-10) or the senior category (grades 11-12) with a 5-7 minute speech on any pro-life topic. Winners in each category receive cash prizes – 1st place wins $150, 2nd place wins $100 and 3rd place wins $75. The senior category winner can then compete at the Ohio Right to Life Speech Contest and the state winner can then compete in the national contest.
