History Exploration - The History of Basket Weaving
The History of Basket Weaving is for youth ages 7-12 and will be held on Thursday, October 12 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm at the Davidson Interpretive Center. Learn the history of basket weaving and how early settlers used this traditional craft. Use the art of weaving to make your very own weaved mat. The program is free. The registration deadline is October 6. Registration is required and available online or at the National Trail Parks and Recreation District Administration Building or at the Davidson Interpretive Center.
